He is a Primetime Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy series for his role as Will Truman’s long-term boyfriend Officer Vincent ‘Vince D’Angelo in the comedy series Will & Grace. He received his second Primetime Emmy in 2013 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in A Drama Series for Boardwalk Empire as Gyp Rosetti.

Bobby Cannavale was born on May 3, 1970, in Union City, New Jersey as Robert Cannavale. His father Sal Cannavale is of Italian descent while his mother Isabel Cannavale is a Cuban. Both of his parents are the immigrants to America. Hence, Bobby Cannavale is of mixed descent and an American citizen.
Bobby Cannavale attended St. Michael’s Catholic School. He was very active in extracurricular activities while at school and was the member of the chorus and an altar boy.
