Introduction
Four times Grammy Award nominee Tamar Braxton is an American singer, reality television personality, and an actress. She has been active in the entertainment industry since 1989. Born on March 17, 1977, as Tamar Estine Braxton-Herbert, she is the founding member of the American R&B singing group The Braxtons.
Early Life
Tamar Braxton was born in Severn, Maryland to parents Michael and Evelyn Braxton. She is the youngest of the six children of her parents. She is the sister of Toni Braxton, Traci Braxton, Trina Braxton, Towanda Braxton and Michael Braxton Jr. Her father was a pastor and the sisters were in the church choir. The sisters formed the R&B group called Braxtons and were signed to Arista Records in 1989. They released several albums together that had charted the list. Later in 1998, Tamar Braxton left the band to pursue her solo career with DreamWorks Records.
Solo-career of Tamar
Tamar released her solo debut album called Ridiculous in 2000. The album contains different musical styles including the lead single ‘Get None’ and ‘If you don’t wanna love me’. Tamar Braxton signed to Casablanca Records in 2004 and started working for her second album. She released her single ‘I’m Leaving’ and was working on her second single but was interfered with the Casablanca’s shifting business. In 2010, Tamar Braxton signed with Universal Records. Later in March 2013, she joined at Epic Records and released her second album called Love and War. Her singing career is highlighted with the Epic Records from where her singles charted on Billboard, allowing her to win several awards and nominations.

Tamar Braxton is a reality television personality. In April 2011, Tamar along with her mother and sisters appeared for the reality series Braxton Family Values. On December 2011, the confirmation came out that she and her husband Vincent would appear in their own reality series based on her solo career and her marital life and the show was titled ‘Tamar and Vince’ which premiered in late 2012. She was the co-host of late night talk show, Tiny Tonight on VH1, host of the show The Culturelist.
Tamar Braxton has competed in the 21st season of Dancing with the Stars. In October 2015, the Braxtons united and released their new material titled Braxton Family Christmas. Having been busy in several projects, Tamar Braxton is supposed to a very high salary. Though the exact salary is unknown, her estimated net worth is $10 million.
Personal Life of Tamar Braxton
Tamar’s personal life is full of mountains and valleys. She has been married twice and is the mother of a son. She was initially married to music producer and composer Derrell ‘Delite’ Allamby. She was married to Derrell in 2001 and in about two years of their marriage, the relationship ended up in divorce. Tamar Braxton recalls her first marriage as an abusive one that broke her down mentally and physically. Soon after the divorce, she met her current husband Vincent in the studio during her music production. They started dating since 2003 and later in 2008, the finally got married. The couple is blessed with a son named Logan Vincent. She is very happy to be a mother and she takes care of her son. When her son was called ugly and need a speech therapist, she had blasted out to that fan of hers for which she even had apologized.
The sighting of domestic allegations among this couple has been reported to be many times. On many occasions, the cops were called and since no physical altercations were seen, her husband Vincent was not arrested. The news gave the speculations that her second marriage is also on rocks for which she stated the news is not true. They are seen often together and holding hands.
