Jeanette’s Personal Life with Freeman
After dating for over 5 years, Jeanette and Morgan got married on October 22, 1967. She was in her early 20s when she met eyes with the Shawshank Redemption star.
Before Morgan was even a peasant in the Silver screens, he was in the theater winning hearts with his roles. Although he started with 71s Who Says I Can’t Ride a Rainbow, his breakthrough role came from his prominent performance as Dr. Roy Bingham on Another World in the early 80s.

After her divorce, Jeanette hasn’t been in the news. She is still alive but out of media eyes. During her marriage, she wasn’t involved in any controversies at all. The last time we saw her was during the funeral of her granddaughter, E’Dena Hines. She was brutally stabbed to death by her own boyfriend Lamar Davenport on a Manhattan sidewalk. A 65-year-old witness told the police that, Davenport was reciting the word from the bible with every strike.
Morgan along with his two previous wives attended the funeral. While asked about E’Dena, Morgan had to say this with a heavy heart,”The world will never know her artistry in talent. Her star will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. May she rest in peace.”
